Headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda, AMA coordinates continental regulatory collaboration, capacity building, pharmacovigilance, quality management, market surveillance, and emergency preparedness in close cooperation with AU Member States, Regional Economic Communities (RECs), and international partners.
The Embedded Expert will support the operationalization of AMA’s continental regulatory coordination mandate while contributing to PTB-supported activities aligned with AMA’s strategic priorities and approved work plans. The expert will be institutionally embedded within AMA under its administrative supervision, while maintaining close technical coordination with PTB. The role focuses on strengthening regulatory coordination, supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives, and contributing to the development of technical tools, knowledge products, and monitoring systems.
